Day 1

Pick up from Zanzibar International Airport and drive to the hotel in Zanzibar City for overnight.

Day 2

After an early breakfast drive to Zanzibar International Airport for a flight to Arusha. Arrive at Arusha Airport and proceed to Arusha National Park for game viewing for about two hours. Take a hot lunch and a short rest before starting the safari to Mkomazi National Park via Same town for overnight

Day 3

Wake up for an early breakfast and start the safari to Mkomazi National Park, the home of white rhinos in East Africa. The Park unravels to the tourists the presence of wild dogs, antelopes, kudus, cheetahs and lions. Retreat for lunch during the mid-day and take a short rest before driving to Tanga city for an overnight.

Day 4

Amboni Caves

Leave the hotel for Amboni Caves in the morning after breakfast. Explore the magnificent wonders of the caves and the natural authenticity of the surrounding areas which include the presence of hot springs. This event takes about two hours and it is capped by a lunch close to the caves’ entrance. The lunch is followed by a short rest and thereafter starts the journey toSaadan National Park and Bagamoyo viaPangani town.

Stop Over at Pangani Town

Pangani is a historical town that has many heritage sites and attractions. The town is a tourist destination located at the mouth of river Pangani on the Indian Ocean close to Tanga and Bagamoyo. Thus, a stop-over at Pangani town gives you an opportunity to visit stunning historical sites that unravel the remains of Arabic and Islamic culture and the town’s role as a transit port for slave and ivory trade. The town has serene and unspoiled beaches. It is an ideal destination for snorkeling, fishing, and marine tourism.

Saadan National Park

You arrive at the park in the afternoon and proceed to game viewing through walking tours. The park is small, quiet, and tranquil. The park has a small population of wild animals that include the “big five”. But what is so attractive is that this is a park where wild animals take strolls at the beach. The park offers you choices for a boat safari, walking tours, and snorkeling. Overnight at BeSwahilid Bed & Breakfast Lodge.

Day 5

Take a breakfast around 8am and at around 9am start a tour of historical sites in Bagamoyo town like the German Administration Block, slave trade centre, and the fish market at the beach. Then proceed to Kaole ruins on the way to Dar es Salaam en route to Zanzibar. Arrive at ferry station in Dar es Salaam around noon and leave for Zanzibar at 3pm and arrive in Zanzibar at 6pm. Overnight at hotel in Zanzibar.

Day 6

Take breakfast at 8am and drive to a beach resort for relaxation up to lunch time. Drive back to Zanzibar city for a visit to historical sites like stone town, slave market, and public garden square. Enjoy the city’s attractions and do some shopping.Return to the hotel and leave for the airport to catch flight back home.
