The RubondoIskand National Park is the largest island national park in Africa. It mainly a marine park located in the southern part Lake Victoria close to Bukoba and Chato respectively. The park is suitable for bird watching, walking tourism, and has some wild animals like antelopes, dikdik, vervet monkeys, The Park can be reached by boats and ships plying the route from Mwanza to Bukoba. Accommodation is available at Rubondo Island Camp. The price for a 3-day safari to the Island is negotiable but ranges from US$1000 to US$2000 p.p depending on incividual or group.
